STARTORIO

This policy records how Startorio handles information when the site is loaded, its search tools are used, or a message is sent to support.

Scope and acceptance

This Privacy Policy covers the Startorio website and its search interface. It should be read with the Service Terms and Interface License. If you do not accept these practices, do not use the service.

Information categories

Technical records

Systems used to deliver and secure Startorio may receive standard web-request details, such as an IP address, browser, device and operating-system information, language, requested path, referrer, approximate region, and request time.

Search activity

Autocomplete sends the text being entered to Datamuse so suggestions can be returned. A submitted search sends the search words and ordinary connection details to Queryvello in a new tab. Those independent providers determine their own logging, use, and retention practices.

Support correspondence

If you email us, the sending address, message, attachments, delivery metadata, and any details you voluntarily provide may be processed to handle the communication.

Purposes of processing

Information under our control may be used to provide and maintain the site, respond to support or legal requests, diagnose errors, prevent misuse, protect rights and systems, keep necessary records, satisfy legal obligations, and assess service reliability. Startorio does not provide user accounts and does not keep a first-party database of saved searches.

Cookies and device storage

The Startorio interface does not place first-party cookies and does not store data in localStorage or sessionStorage. External providers may use cookies or comparable technologies when their services are contacted or opened. Their policies and your browser controls govern those technologies.

Providers and disclosures

Website hosting, security, suggestion, search, and email providers may process information to perform their services. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably required to follow applicable law, respond to lawful requests, enforce agreements, investigate suspected wrongdoing, protect users or property, or support a corporate reorganization with suitable protections.

Startorio does not sell personal information supplied through support email.

Cross-border processing

Providers can process information from locations outside your country. Privacy protections in those locations may be different. Transfers involving information under our control will use measures required by applicable law.

Controls and privacy rights

You control whether to request suggestions, submit a search, or contact support. Rights available in your jurisdiction may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent where consent applies, and a complaint to a supervisory authority.

Submit a request to support@startorio.com with the subject “Privacy request.” Verification or clarifying information may be required before a request can be completed.

Retention

Information under our control is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to answer a request, maintain security, document actions, resolve disputes, or comply with law. Providers used for hosting, suggestions, searches, and email apply their own retention periods.

Security

Reasonable administrative and technical measures may be used to reduce unauthorized access, use, alteration, or loss. No internet service, email system, or storage system is completely secure, and absolute protection cannot be promised.

Children

Startorio is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly seek their personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child sent information directly to us should contact the address below.

Do Not Track

Startorio does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals because no consistent industry standard governs those signals. Browser privacy controls can still be used to limit third-party technologies.

Policy revisions

This policy may be revised to reflect changes in Startorio, its providers, or applicable obligations. A new revision date will identify the current version. Material updates will be presented through the service when reasonably appropriate.
